Female “pastors” doesn’t disturb you?
Charismatic chaos doesn’t disturb you? - Remember the “laughing revival”?
In these last days, there’s enough disagreement among the Remnant Church to fill congress over thousands of times.
I’m not going to get into a debate here, but just to respond briefly to your points: while I was watching the livestream, I did not observe female pastors, charismatic chaos, or a laughing revival. I saw nothing that gave me pause from a Biblical point of view. While watching the livestream, I did tune into several video commentaries of religious people trying every strategy they could to deny that this could actually be a move of God’s Holy Spirit. I think that whenever the Spirit moves and does something different, there are critics waiting in the wings with their formulas and arguments for why this couldn’t possibly be God.
I want to reiterate that I’m not declaring for sure that I know that this is a revival. Just that I find this particular response (including your own) completely unconvincing for the reasons I described.
If the women were stepping up preaching repentance and turn away from sin.. maybe. The problem is that there’s a huge vacuum where strong biblical preaching men should be. Most male preachers are narcissistic and worldly, emotionally immature and bullies. They almost act like women should be worshipping them, not so much Jesus and that God made it ok for them to lust but not for women and homosexuals. You can see how left would eat that up and use it to further destroy the church…. I was watching RC Sproul video from the early 90’s and he was yelling at how bad evangelicals were destroying the churches. Now it’s nearly complete. We need God’s intervention to clean out the churches if we are to go on. One thing Sproul said that stood out is that thiscountry replaced thinking for feelings. And that’s what led to today’s problems.
