End Times Ping
FReemail me if you wish to be added to or removed from The End Times Ping List.
Maranatha!!
4 later
I would counter with all satanists don't know who they are up against.
“but I’m fairly certain most born-again Christians have little idea of what they are really up against...”
Most people I know who are church ladies have not a clue. Not like my grandmother did and her homies did back then. They could size up a demon in their midst no question.
Now? People are so far away from knowing. They don’t realize how Jesus knew
Thx, I read later!
So Isaiah 14 is about the king of Babylon, not Satan: “3 On the day the Lord gives you relief from your suffering and turmoil and from the harsh labor forced on you, 4 you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon:...”
Can’t miss This
THANKS!
I believe this opening statement to be 100% true.
Every decision, every action, every statement, that we make, plays a tangible part in the ultimate battle of good verses evil, and why we should choose so wisely what we do, and who we choose to associate with, or support.
The rest of the article would take some time to digest, and consider, but it looks pretty good from what I have seen at the start.
I think this: “They (the angels who fell) must have believed God was in a weakened state after creating everything, and that they had a small window of opportunity to make their move.”
... is a dubious idea.
Instead I would suggest that Lucifer may have been dismissive that there would be consequences at all.
Which, if you think about it, is what many of us do when we give ourselves over to sin ... and among those able to somehow recognize that there may be consequences they often think it will be minor or that they can handle it and back off later ... as if they fancied themselves some sort of Solomon.
Romans 1 may have relevance here for what he, the then future devil, essentially did yet only to the max: to ascribe glory to someone other than the Lord (also invite the rest of the angels to worship him) AND demonstrate ingratitude for the incredible gifts associated with his creation and privileges by taking them for granted as if they were really his own, that he was somehow deserving and therefore responsible for them.
When he invited others to worship him I would speculate that, in worshipping a creature, they maybe also began to worship themselves, and whatever social structure that they had known among themselves previously became the pattern for this worship and being worshipped among the ranks of these now fallen creatures ... kinda like what one Hindu said speaking of their cosmology: it’s turtles all the way down.
So do they continue to fight because they continue to worship themselves, ultimately worship Satan above them, and demand worship from others of lower rank than themselves in their own company?
... with fallen humans of course as the lowest of the low probably being how that fleshes out.
When Jesus took on human flesh and invaded that kingdom head on — the very one they had creased to worship had became like us that they thought of as their playthings — maybe that was when they thought God had weakened?
But I don’t think before.
Still, it might have been right up to the cross that they thought that they were finally getting away with it.
... then He rose from the grave and before they could stop proverbially messing their britches the Holy Spirit had come in His place, He having ascended and promising that He would return.
... and He is returning.
I will defer, for now, reading the item above--which probably contains some valuable content--because illiteracy tires me.
Agreed 👍

Do We understand the Battle that
Rages for man’s Soul?

Our own privileges and limitations
In this Unseen War giving our mortal existence?
To the writer (not the honorable poster), I note that it apparently takes a big set of balls these days, just to say a man does what he does.
Interesting. Care to flesh that out a bit?
Not everyone does, clearly. Our daily lives are so demanding, we have to often go along to get along, which is many times how we fail. An important part of building up those defenses, is spending time with Christians who are stronger in their faith than ourselves, so that we can be inspired by their strength, and determination. Spending time with, or making excuses for others, who don't recognize or follow the true example of Jesus, only drags us down to their level, instead. Learn from the strong, to impress upon the weak, not the other way around.
Peter Garcia is a regular on Tom Hughes podcasts, worth listening to. Things are not falling apart but rather coming together (Jan Markel).

Time’s past I’ve flexed my Spiritual
Muscles and now that I’ve retired and
the Planet is spinning towards it’s final chapter the question of how We should
Live is not so clear.
“but I’m fairly certain most born-again Christians have little idea of what they are really up against...”
“I would counter with all satanists don’t know who they are up against.”
I would counter with all satanists don’t know where they are heading rather than being up against something.
