I had a factory there in the 80’s. Then the Libs from CA got the US and others stop money flow. Wrecked the economy and I had to close the plant, as did others, over 20,000 lost their jobs. Still have friends there but they are struggling. Drove to Pretoria, Durbin and some of the animal parks. Miss it.
I am an Expat. What has happened to that country is a crime. The rolling blackouts. The crumbling infrastructure. The crime and rampant corruption. The Chinese pillaging the resources. I miss what it was as well.
