It does really appear that way. The Ukraine Cheerleaders seem to think that since Russia has not gone nuclear yet, that they will NEVER go nuclear, and they’ll site there quietly while China takes over Mexico and puts troops and missiles on our Southern Border (which is what Russia is looking at, on their southern border).
Unfortunately, we likely have to, once again, go through their ‘learning curve’ regarding other cultures and how they are willing to fight to preserve them, except we won’t have too many cities left this time.

I read some of your posts. Right now, you sound like you are preparing to die.
Sometimes, the problems of the world appear to pile up on a person’s shoulders.
I am praying that whatever may be convincing you, that it has a terminal grip on your thinking, you may consider that you can - without harming yourself and others - give your self a break.
You would be surprised to find out, some time in our future, that an encounter with someone whose life and situation improved - because you showed up in the nick of time to help them with a personal matter - is important to whom you helped, and to you, and to God.
I was thinking about you, given that you mention your previous trips to Russia, because a friend of mine was born there. Her parents (both, communists) brought her to our country, the USA, when she was a child in the late 1980’s.
My young friend’s grandfather was a high-ranking KGB officer well above V. Putin.
A colleague of my young friend, was a young mother with two very young children. This colleague was walking down a hallway one day, close to where the both worked, and I was following by about 20 steps, when I could tell that the young mother was somehow in trouble.
I followed the young mother to where she sat down, and I walked around to the front of her table. Standing there, I told her that I knew her life was in danger.
She replied that she intended to commit suicide just a couple hours later that very afternoon.
I then spoke as if by miracle. The words of God’s love for her flowed from me, as if I knew the Bible by heart. For about 3 - 5 minutes. She was stunned and burst into tears.
She replied, “How did you know I was in trouble?”
I knew.
She thought that her desparate status was her burden alone.
I stood by her for a long time, while she relaxed and regained a toehold on life.
That afternoon, I wrote her a letter and returned to where she worked, handing the letter to her - so she would have something to hold onto; something to remind her at some time in our future.

You really can’t think of anything else that happened since last February that could get people angry at Putin?
I’m not addressing that but those people who ARE phobic and some on these threads are apparent....failing to see the entire picture.
