Just so you know that post was addressed to an individual
Yeah, I know, but you made a sweeping statement about a couple hundred million Americans, that includes most conservatives: “the people who hate Russia do so because of the anti-Russian rhetoric in our media.” In one sentence you managed to commit all four of the greatest sins that make reasonable discussions on the internet next to impossible:
1) Presumed motivation or simplistic reasons for other people’s thoughts...
2) ... resulting in an Absurd ad hominem ...
3) ... and a Sweeping generalizations ...
4) ... with an utter lack of historical context.
Violation of Godwin’s law is the other of the top 5, but I’m not giving you a pass on that, because comparisons to Hitler are actually perfectly valid here.
