Usually it's buried deep in he humongous purse full of old receipts and gum wrappers..................
Good Morning, Dan. :-)
Very nice illustrations, paintings and stunning “fenster”.
#1 by Fetti, a solid painter from the Baroque period. He was known for small representations of biblical parables set in everyday life. I love his painting of the Sleeping Girl, very detailed and has a soft brush work.
#4 Tissot
#19 by Burnard, a very talented and respected Swiss painter. We have encountered him last year in the painting of Peter and John rushing to the sepulcher the morning of the Resurrection. In that highly expressive work we can see the influence of Jean-François Millet, famous for his paintings illustrating rural life.
#21 Second encounter with the sacro-cubism of Santangelo.
Good Morning Dan, and good Wednesday to the many philosophers who attend today.
Fine choices;
#4 Tissot
#21 Santangelo
#23 Copping
Thank You Dan!
