Having attended 10.5 years of Catholic school (during the 50s and 60s) most assuredly doesn't make me an expert on Catholic doctrine.However,I can't think of a single pronouncement or comment that Pope Francis has made that's consistent with what the nuns taught me during those 10+ years.

For me it was 12 years, ending in ‘67 and I agree with your statement. I had nuns for the first 8 years, Brothers of Maryknoll the last 4.

Francis seems to be the epitome of the spirit of Vatican II. With any luck, we are also experiencing the twilight of that same spirit.
