We were getting to the point where we could laugh about racial things together, which is a sure sign that we were improving. Can’t do that anymore, either. (Imagine trying to make ‘Blazing Saddles’ today...even Black comedians are being ‘cancelled’.)
Classic movie, funny as hell. We all laughed. Yup, we were heading in a good direction, it was a great time in the 70s. I’m giving 2020’s two thumbs down. IDK if it just me but seems now when there is a tragedy we think of victims only half hazardly and focus on race and politics of the perp, as if it matters. The amount of sympathy for victims also dependent on those factors :-(
