Prayers for FRiends and Family 2023

I believe that God wants us to know how much He Loves us and that

He very much desires to hear our personal prayers so

in His Kindness and Mercy grants our humble requests

not always but often in the exact manner we expect and so

I think it’s very important for the people that pray

to learn of how their prayers are answered.

Thread Instructions and Guidelines:

To post a prayer request or update on this thread

simply click on the "Post Reply" button on this (or any) post and

let everyone know who and what we are praying for.

Please include as many details as you can provide but

especially the first name of the person we are going to be praying for.

I believe that God plays a role in how we receive our first names and so

it is a slightly more powerful way to pray however

He knows who we are praying for anyway and it's not really necessary.

The ping list is public so to ping the thread

you can simply copy the PING list and paste it into the "to" field

Please scroll back on the thread to check for recent prayer requests.

I will ping the list occasionally so everyone will be reminded to check the thread.

I would appreciate prayers for my sister (and fellow FReeper who hasn’t been here in a while). She had breathing complications from flu, including pneumonia. She is currently on a ventilator in ICU after collapsing and becoming unresponsive.

She is waking up some this morning, and they expect she will recover from the pneumonia but they think she may have had a heart attack which caused her to collapse. They will know more when the cardiologist sees her.

She is a real fighter, has recovered from heart attacks, stroke, cancer, and has a blood clotting disorder and COPD. But none of that has slowed her down, she is very involved in her church and teaches a couples Bible study with her husband.

I know she has to be livid she is on a vent, she was adamant she never be on one when she had Covid, but she recovered from that at home.

I appreciate your prayers
