Episcopals and Methodists are just about the worst. Then there is ELCA and PCUSA, yuck.
Just garbage. Exchanging tue Truth of God for a lie.

Still, I’m wondering what they’re shopping for? Better coffee and donuts?

It has to be something like that. If I were an atheist I would have to have some good reason to hang out at church.

So, the article opens with a discussion on some ND student looking at conservative/liberal CATHOLIC churches.

Then delves into all sorts of stats and numbers for several different denominational groups... except for Catholics. What are their numbers..?

Mainline Protestants, which Pew described as “white, non-evangelical” Christians, were split — with 43% voting for Biden, 57% for Trump.

Huh. So when Trump wins it's a "split", but if those numbers were the other way, they'd call it "beyond a landslide"!

No. Church service was to worship the Lord. We had a bulletin board for all else.

So the sermon/homily didn't do anything to relate this week's scripture readings to living life? No statements on current events or how you should act in whatever random circumstances? Did your priest just get up, say hi, and move on?

I've never attended a church with a priest as you have assumed.

Whatever you want to call him. Or her. Or zim. Priest, pastor, rabbi, youth group leader, whatever. You know what I meant.

I can only know what you posted. It's there for the forum to see. You can't deny that.

I doubt anyone else reading this forum took my comment to mean that I think that you, specifically, go to a Catholic Church instead of referring to your priest/pastor/imam in general.

And of course, you still haven't answered the question.
