Please hear us all, Oh Lord and lead and guide us back to You. Amen.

We grow weary of talks of discord, of disunity, of opposition to the Constitution, of hatred, and more spending. Father, we pray for wisdom for our leaders; but above all, we ask for You to give them the DESIRE to be obedient to You and to be responsible in that which You have entrusted them. Help them to be good stewards of the money diligently earned by the hard work of the citizens of this country. Lord, raise up for us righteous leaders who will not change when they arrive in Washington, but will stay true to You and to Your teachings. Lord, may each of us be willing to pass on the goodness, the blessings, and the love that we have received from You, for truly they are precious blessings. May we share them. May we recognize the joy of giving during this Christmas season. May we be Givers---not only during this Season, but all year long.
