Wow, just, wow. I’ve seen Fr Frank several times in person at the Walk for Life West Coast in San Francisco. We’re essentially talking about the leading pro-life activist priest in this country. I knew that there are forces in the Roman and American hierarchies that seek a divorce between Catholicism and the pro-life position, but, man, I never expected a shot across the bow like this. Open letter to Pope Francis re Muhammad

Dear Pope Francis,

There is much confusion in the world today about the holiness of Muhammad. The Church must either release its findings that support the use of the term “Holy Quran” or initiate a new inquiry that can support the this classification.

Too many people question the holiness of the Quran for the church to remain silent. A strong voice from the Church has the potential to unite the world. Just imagine Christians and Muslims living in harmony.

The culmination of this effort should lead to the beatification of Muhammad. After all, shouldn’t God’s holy messenger be present among the Saints of the Church that we recognize are surely in heaven?

I look forward to a transparent revelation of the Church’s true findings on the holiness of Muhammad and the Quran.
