Several decades of being ruled by family is a bit long ... but I get your point! I think we’ve all been there. Some worse than others, I know.

Fact is, God (The Real God - not some manmade fiery judgement garbage) really does love you and wants you with Him.
Whatever baggage you’ve got.
Whatever piles of sin you’ve done.
Whatever evil you’ve committed.
Doesn’t matter.
That verse above that I posted applies to all people.
So you blame God for what man did to you. Sorry to hear that
