Russian Orthodox Church has always been more Russian than Orthodox, ie a bitch of the state. It’s no surprise that even under communism they were allowed to exist with state support while other faiths were persecuted.
Gotta love a country that claims to be “Christian” when it has the highest abortion rate in the world.

So far this year, Russian “Orcs” have been accused of gang raping infants, etc etc.
The Ukraine war fever is at “Huns bayonetting babies” WW1 levels, so pardon me if I don’t just take your word for it.
