Mainz Bishop Peter Kohlgraf, Germany, has commissioned Christine Schardt and Pastor Mathias Berger on 9 October with a so-called "queer-sensitive pastoral" which is financed by church tax (pictures).
In the sermon, Kohlgraf wished for a "church" that values homosexuals "and their reality of life" [= sin]. He accused the Bible of having pushed so many homosexual Church employees into a double life - as if the moral teaching were the problem, not the one who acts against it.
Kohlgraf declaimed that "no one is a detriment to creation, all [except Catholics] are loved, God willed them all this way.” This way, he implicitly justified paedophilia.
It is "shocking" for him that the focus on homosexuality - Kohlgraf is the first to push that focus - "mutates for some in the Church into the actual core question of being Catholic."
He falsified the Gospel claiming that homosexuality and a homosex lifestyle did not decide "eternal salvation" but "unkindness," "hypocrisy" or "insulting" others do.
This, however, was a hypocritical and unkind bashing of those who, unlike Kohlgraf, respect Catholic morals.
Ping
I know a guy who repented of homosexuality and left that sin behind him.
I think this guy better read the story of Sodom and Gomorrah again.
all sins (including homosexual fortification) and your choice to accept Christ’s as your savior decides your eternal salvation.
I wonder what this bishop thinks is required for salvation. I know of no sect of Christianity, especially the Roman Catholic Church that considers unrepentant sin as a road to salvation.
The bishop accused the Bible. I think I see a problem right there.
#7 Thou shalt not commit adultery
homosexuals can’t be married in the eyes of God, and thus are committing adultery every time they engage in sex with each other.
This is a pretty clear-cut sin.

No, but humility does.
The purge of perverts from the Church hierarchy will be bitter, messy and necessary.
I don’t understand the first part of your sentance. All sins...I understand that we must believe in the Gospel 1 Cor 15:1-4 and Rom 10:9-10. What do you mean by all sins decide your eternal salvation. We all sin, I know you know that, so that is what is confusing me about your sin statement. Please clarify for my education.
“Homosexual Fornication ‘Does Not’ Decide Eternal Salvation”
He’s right; it doesn’t.
Eternal salvation has only to do whether a person accepts or rejects Christ as Lord and Savior.
If someone has accepted Christ, he/she will not engage in homosexual fornication. That behavior will end.
If a person has not accepted Christ, then he’s gonna burn in hell anyhow, so how he has sex, and with whom, doesn’t really matter when it comes to eternity.
No.
Not Christian not Godly behavior.
Just No.
We have to tell the Homo Trans Pervert Lobby No.
Not repenting does. It isn’t what is in the books that damns a soul but what is not in the Lamb’s Book of Life: someone’s name.
But the reason someone refused the command to repent and be saved greatly matters in every specific case ... it matters a lot. If this or any sin is why someone doesn’t repent it is their contribution to how their eternal destiny is determined.
To be blunt, while Paul immediately noted, after listing those who cannot enter the Kingdom, that “such were some of you” that should provide no comfort or basis for hope to those who persist in a “such are you still” category.
Homosexuals who do not repent will be eternally condemned. There is no lavender get out of Hell free card.
Galations 5 answers this.
...that is all
1Co 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,
1Co 6:10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
Sodom+Gomorrah deserves Reprieve.

Specifically in vv 19-21
19Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality,
20idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions,
21envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things WILL NOT inherit the kingdom of God.
...in case anyone missed it
