DENVER (AP) — The Colorado baker who won a partial Supreme Court victory after refusing on religious grounds to make a gay couple’s wedding cake a decade ago is challenging a separate ruling he violated the state’s anti-discrimination law by refusing to make a cake celebrating a gender transition.
A lawyer for Jack Phillips on Wednesday urged Colorado’s appeals court — largely on procedural grounds — to overturn last year’s ruling in a lawsuit brought by a transgender woman.
The woman, Autumn Scardina, called Phillips’ suburban Denver cake shop in 2017 requesting a birthday cake that had blue frosting on the outside and was pink inside to celebrate her gender transition. At trial last year, Phillips, a Christian, testified he did not think someone could change genders and he would not celebrate “somebody who thinks that they can.”

How can we have a Justice system when delusional claims are considered real? There is no such thing as a, “transgender.” A man does not become a woman because he mutilates his penis, he becomes a man with a mutilated penis.
Wasn’t Gay marriage to be the end-game in the culture war for “gay rights”? We were told we can’t say who someone could love.

Bad service may be something to complain about but no service is just an inconvenience.

They don’t really care about the cake. They care about the precedents they are setting and the forced compliance of the general, sane, not sexually perverted population.
The whole purpose of the cake order was to provoke a lawsuit, not celebrate anything.
They guy pretending to be a woman could have made that cake himself.
He didn’t need to order it.

Christian businesses may need to adopt a “membership” customer mode.
Non-Members only get the normal off the shelf products
Members have access to custom products.
Membership is a nominal $1 fee and requires signing and accepting the terms of membership which allows the business to refuse custom service.
