Fair! I would only note that I haven’t met a denomination exclusively led by perfect human beings.
Nor was that ever the case, right? 12 disciples, of which 1 betrayed Him and 10 others then fled like kittens, including the one he called the rock denying Him three times in one evening...
... and He knew all that beforehand and still chose those 12 — and see what happened after! So, I figure He knows what He’s doing despite the strange persons with jobs like pastor and priest, bishop, Pope, etc.
But most Church leaders do their best to uplift the faithful not tear them down.
This man does not. And worse he seems to be doing it out of malice rather then simple error.
I find that terribly sad.
Especially for Catholics who are facing outright persecution for their faith.
