Anyone else find it humorous that “Nondenominational” is considered a denomination?

Next question: who was defining “biblical views”? I thought the whole reason Protestants divided into so many denominations was disagreements over what the Bible said.

Jesus was not a Socialist and Christianity is not Socialism.

True. Did I say otherwise? Try to read carefully.

Christianity is not Socialism. As I said.

And Christianity is not Capitalism. As I said.

Jesus is unconcerned with partisan politics. If you want to let the market provide public services, Jesus is fine with that. And if you want to raise taxes for public services, Jesus is fine with that too.

Jesus has more important matters on his mind than economic policy.

Well Old Testament revelation was certainly capitalistic and Jesus never renounced that.

“ Based on the third criteria on the list, your church would have a rough time locating a single "Christian" on earth prior to the 1600s.”

Except the Apostle Paul, St. Augustine, the Waldensians, John Hus and a host of others.

Capitalism is permitted by the Bible. But the Bible also permits socialism (i.e., taxes for public or common benefit).

Jesus sent Peter to get two coins so they could pay the temple tax. And there's the famous story of Jesus saying to "render unto Caesar."

Jesus was not a Communist extremist banning all personal property. But neither was He a libertarian "all taxation is theft" extremist.

I don’t see support for taxation as support for socialism. Taxation does not = socialism/

OK, maybe I misread, but I can make a great argument using Scriptures that Jesus, i.e. GOD supported capitalism as the best economic system in a World full of fallen men.

In the parallel universe we call heaven, there is not need for capitalism, because there is no struggle for survival.

But again, GOD prefers Capitalism in this fallen World, and there is more than enough Scriptural evidence to make that argument. The Parable of the laborers in the Vineyard is the best example, (Matthew 20:1-16), but many many other examples exist.

While it was a lesson that all who accept Christ as their Lord and Savior will gain the same salvational benefit in heaven, regardless of how early or late in life one accepted HIM, Jesus used a capitalist example of a man who has the right to pay employees as he so desires. He rejected the Socialist Union mentality that the workers have the right to control what the landowner can do with his own money.
