[Catholic Caucus] DICTATOR POPE: A Traditional Catholic Uprising

New from Remnant TV...

In this Remnant Underground, Michael takes Francis to the mat for the "Great Apostacy" that was his be-feathered photo op blitz in Canada, apologizing to the indigenous for the fact that the Catholic missionaries who evangelized and civilized that nation were simply obeying the Divine Commission from Jesus Christ Himself.

But "Wild Pope Francis's" repentance pilgrimage was something of a flop; the fallout from indigenous Canadians and Catholics alike has not been favorable to Justin Trudeau and the Vatican‘s plan. It was such a flop, in fact, that Pope Francis is now making comments about stepping down.

And to make matters worse, while Francis participates in a pagan smudging ceremony in Canada, and talks about the need to preserve the traditions and language of the indigenous people, he is committing liturgicide against his own church -- Several diocese in the U.S. have now canceled the Latin Mass in accordance with Traditionis Custodes.

Michael Matt has a stirring and inspirational message to the Traditional Catholics who have been impacted by these recent Latin Mass cancelations. And the ultimate irony? According to Michael, the traditional Catholic counterrevolution is stronger, more unified, and more poised for a major victory right now than it was when he was a boy in the early 1970s. To quote him: We have not yet begun to fight.

Francis has repeatedly spoken out against traditionalists, indigenous people, decrying their “rigidity” and inward focus, their need to preserve their traditions and language, lamenting their nostalgia for the past.

I don’t see any uprising. I just see lots of bemoaning.

I don’t see any uprising.

I see it.

SSPX and FSSP churches are being inundated with new parishioners.

In the meantime, Bishops' appeals and diocesan collections are shrinking.

I recently attended a Latin Mass at an SSPX church.

The Mass was preceded by the congregation praying the Rosary. This was led by a lay parishioner with a loud and clear voice, and a loud and clear response by the parishioners.

Then there was the Mass. The priest leading the Mass was, I believe, one of the priests who founded that parish. However, he was so old and his voice was so weak, that no one could hear a single syllable of the Mass. Also, he was dragging this cable, which might have been a microphone cable, or perhaps some sort of oxygen supply. In any case, it was very distracting as it appeared he might trip over the cable at any time during the Mass. Why he couldn't have a blue tooth microphone or a portable oxygen supply was a mystery to me.

The homily was the typical uninspiring nag at the parishioners to focus on their own sins rather than on the growing rot in and out of the Church.

This is the expected behavior of "rad trads", i.e. when there are no priests involved then they are boisterous and lively. However, as soon as a priest shows up they are meek and diffident. Heaven forfend if someone should work with the priest to improve the sound quality so that the beauty of the Mass can be shared with the entire community. Heaven forfend if the other priest could have been encouraged to give more inspiring and incisive homilies.

No. Whatever the priest does is perfect and without error because the "rad trads" are all about obeying and deference.

There will be no uprising, especially if there are any members of the clergy involved.

Sorry. I don’t at all believe your account of the SSPX Mass you claim to have attended.

I really don’t believe you’ve ever been to one.

If you wish to substantiate your tale, please reveal the date, city and name of the church.

Our Lady of Angels Church in Arcadia, California. I attended the early morning Mass on a Sunday.

I attended a Latin Mass at San Fernando Mission a few years back and that was very inspiring as the priest could be clearly heard throughout the Mass even though facing the altar.

I notice that this Church doesn't really even have its own web page, but is just a page or two on the SSPX main site. They have to have at least one parishioner who can create web pages, but evidently that's not important to them even though it would be a great opportunity for reaching out to the community.

There is nothing that says that people who revere the traditional mass have to stick with traditional means of communication. A blue tooth microphone would have been a blessing to this older priest and his parish, but evidently that was too moderne or something.

When I read the first line about Michael taking Francis to the mat, I groggily thought it referred to St. Michael.

I pray that will still happen.

Are you even aware of spiritual warfare?

DC Rosary Rally in front of the Nunciature: Every Saturday

It seems to me that you are the one is bemoaning just because you can't hear a priest offer the Mass.
