Washington, D.C. Newsroom, Jul 28, 2022 / 12:45 pm Ahead of a new poll showing overwhelming support for legalized abortion among Massachusetts residents, several cities in the state have taken steps to fine pro-life pregnancy centers if they engage in “deceptive” advertising practices.
Seventy-eight percent of respondents in a Suffolk University/Boston Globe poll released this week said abortion should be legal in all or most cases.
Forty-eight percent of respondents said abortion should be legal in all cases, while another 30% said it should be legal in most cases.
The poll results come on the heels of municipal ordinances enacted in Cambridge and Somerville, located north of Boston, to issue fines of up to $300 for every instance of “deceptive” advertising by local pregnancy clinics that do not perform abortions or refer clients to those that do perform them. Neither measure defines what constitutes “deceptive” advertising.
In Cambridge, the ordinance contains additional language that prohibits its city manager from issuing licenses or permits to pro-life pregnancy centers that wish to operate within city limits.
According to crisispregnancycentermap.com, a project by two professors at the University of Georgia, there are no pro-life pregnancy centers in either Somerville or Cambridge.

It never ceases to amaze me that so many people can be so blind to the fact that abortion, no matter it’s stage of development, is the destruction of a unique human life. I have no illusions that the preponderance of people have a modicum of religious scruples, but from a purely scientific standpoint it is undeniable. It has to be more than mass delusion or the increasing stupidization of society. It can only be Satanic manipulation of their hearts and minds.
What the hell is wrong with these people?
Good People: “We would like to help people who want to have babies.”
Liberals: “You people are monsters. We will destroy you.”
I volunteered for a crisis pregnancy center in Boston. The ad said “for a solution that’s not abortion.”
That said, some of the sidewalk counselors who brought women to us could be deceptive, and one of our volunteers was inclined to fudge how long it would take to schedule an abortion and the limits on how late one could be performed.
If you trust the One who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, you probably should trust the Truth.
Sometimes it seems as if the Democrats are the rebirthed Nazi Party. They want to use baby parts for research and kill minority children as fast as they can to keep their race “pure”.
They are pro-abortion only. They are not pro-CHOICE otherwise they would be fine with crisis pregnancy centers.
The leftist liars act like women these days don’t know that abortion is an option. Any woman going to a crisis pregnancy center is going there knowing full well what her options are and clearly abortion is not high on that list.
I thought that pregnancy centers were also a part of women’s health. Silly me.
It’s only “reproductive health” if you don’t reproduce because of an abortion.
