Tbilisi, July 4, Interfax - Police in Tbilisi have arrested 17 participants in a protest against staging LGBT events in the Georgian capital, the Georgian Interior Ministry told reporters on Saturday.

The protestors were refusing to obey police orders, it said.

The protest against the so-called LGBT Week was held in Tbilisi on Saturday.

According to the Georgian media, the event involved members from the radical organization Alt-Info. The participants torched the European Union flag outside the building of the EU delegation in Tbilisi. They were holding Georgian flags and chanting "Long live Georgia!"

The protestors told reporters that if the EU is really keen on friendship, it should take the Georgian people as it is.

The Georgian media said that prior to the rally some people gathered outside the EU delegation office in Rustaveli Avenue and tore up a rainbow flag (the international symbol of the LGBT) and the NATO flag.

Meanwhile, the president and chief executive of the American Endowment for Democracy, Damon Wilson, who is currently visiting Tbilisi, told reporters after meeting with Georgian opposition representatives of his solidarity with the Georgian LGBT community. In a healthy, strong democracy the LGBT community should be part of this democratic life, Wilson said.

The article might have noted (but did not) that Damon Wilson is himself a homosexual with a husband.

Damon Wilson CEO/president of the National Endowment for Democracy. He worked with NATO for 20 years, VP of the Atlantic Council for 10. At every position his whole career has been Eastern Europe strategy, especially Ukraine. In the video below, he admits the goal is to turn Russia into a democracy.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=424&v=kI4QDm5G-pE&feature=emb_imp_woyt

…the strategy [of consolidating control over Eastern Europe] is not meant to create new dividing lines in Europe. The aim is to anchor a vulnerable, insecure zone in the certainty of a stable and prosperous and free Europe, and over the long time [sic] this vision includes a democratic Russia. But the pathway to reform in Moscow might just begin with choices that are made in Kiev, Chișinău, Yerevan, and Tbilisi.

Gee, do you think Russia might take issue with the US/NED/NATO deciding what their future form of government will be? It's not like it's a secret when our NGO strategists come right out and say it. We showed them how we work. Same way it's been for years. The NED took over what the CIA used to do South of our border. Regime change. It was the NED and NDI who did the regime change in Ukraine in 2014. The dems just did it here with the 2020 election. That was a forced regime changed. do you think Russia doesn't see these things and is fine and dandy with that being done to them?

The Puppet Masters of Ukraine(or Eastern Europe)
