Perhaps he (Bergoglio) needs to be reminded that Vatican II, for all of its faults, never mandated:

• The priest facing the congregation
• The abandonment of Latin as the main liturgical language
• The abandonment of Gregorian chant and polyphony
• Tabernacles moved away from the altar
• Communion in the hand 
• The removal of the communion rails and subsequent standing for Holy Communion
• Female altar servers
