Faith is very important to God. He loves the people of this world but for those who reject and refute Him then their free will and it’s consequences He allows that for them but like the prodigal son they can still turn around and seek Him while they can.

Just finished a book on Jonah and can’t think of
‘Faith’ from Him except;
“Salvation is of the Lord!”
Jonah ran till the end but
God pursued to the Salvation of souls.

Ask yourself this question...if the Living God were to give you a reason, that would make sense just to you, as to why he must be worshipped, would you be prepared to do just that?Would you be prepared to just throw away everything and follow him...because it made perfect sense to you? Even if it made sense to no one else?

The Bible speaks of humility and confession as a part of worship but a worship of God is less about practise and about a process, of being “grafted into Christ the way parts of apple or olive trees get engrafted into other established trees. God doesn’t need any one to “worship” him so much as desires to place saved souls into himself and worship is a part of that process. God loves us and we learn to love him with everything we are and then out of that love for him and he for us we learn to love and value ourselves and as we grow in that new self love and self regard, we learn to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. That is the pattern of worship...not a ritual practise of bowing and praying and a following of pointless rules, but a life lived that seeks to bring others into the center of God’s love, making disciples of all men were it possible from all the nations.

You may question why God needs to be worshipped but he doesn’t need anything from man, only that he simply loves us. Worship is needful for man because it is the gateway to Christ. We need worship for it opens each of our individual center cores of darkness to the light of God that cleanses us from all unrighteousness; staying in God’s light and to cultivate the spirit’s renwal day by day is the heart of worship...not for his sake but for our sakes. The Living God, the Ancient of Days from Daniel 7 has required nothing more than we confess Jesus our Lord and Savior with our mouths and to believe in our hearts that the Father has raised him from the grave. It is a one way worship in that it is the continual acknowlegment that we really have nothing to give that he cannot supply us with. He seeks to make us other “sons and daughters of God”. Worship in the Christian sense is the simple acknowledgment of what he has done for us and then the life long committment to growth in him. You go to church to worship and to express love to God in song, study, and prayer ..yes. You pay the gas bill of a struggling single mom...you are also worshipping! Man to God and God to man...then man to man. The vertical and the horizontal aspects of the cross...the true heart of what it means to worship!
