I’m not Catholic, but I remember when the Pope was.
Catholic laity don’t get a say-so in what the mucky-mucks do. Remember that - those who aren’t religious or don’t know much about the RC church are now at least getting somewhat familiarized now, in having seen what the socialist Democrats and their globalist masters did to us in jiggering the election and installing B1den. “We don’t care what you think! Haha! Suffer, b1tches! Oh, and by the way, while we’re dumping gaywads on you: HAVE A FEW MORE MILLION ILLEGAL ALIENS! HAAAAAHAHAHAHA!” (I’m paraphrasing here. Not a direct quote.)
Jorge-boy is going to take the tithing, churchgoing Catholic membership for a ride it’s never going to forget. If it even survives.
Maybe it’s time to install a real Catholic alternate Pope. Maybe again in Avignon?
No, I'm thinking of the Light - His name is Jesus. You seem to be saying that exposing the tares and working to remove them is somehow "burning down the Church". If this is not what you're saying, I apologize.
The New Testament is filled with the testimonies of the Apostles rebuking and at times removing errant teachers and leaders. Church history is filled with the Church proclaiming and codifying the Truth (doctrine) and proclaiming and codifying what is false (heresy). This is not "burning down the Church", it is bringing Light to darkness.
It's interesting that the Church is facing some of the same problems we face on our political landscape. Namely, the individuals and institutions in our government who should show fidelity to our Constitution and laws are not doing so. Like unfaithful Church leaders, they need to be removed.
There is nothing Holy about these pampered academics.
Total B.S.! You sound like Joe Biden.
