Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, accused the West of trying to set up hierarchs of various branches of Christianity against Russia.
"For Western countries, the 'protection of religious freedom' has long been a routine political instrument of pressure on Russia. It’s particularly appalling, given that in today's Europe, as in the whole of the Anglo-Saxon world, traditional Christian values have gone through catastrophic devaluation. A look into the latest family legislation of these countries would be enough to see what I mean. Therefore, it is Russia that in recent years has been viewed by many as a stronghold of the Christian world as a whole," Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel April 27.
"However, with the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine," he continues, "thermonuclear degenerates have climbed out into the light of God."
"In an anti-Russian frenzy, the Baltic leaders demand sanctions against the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia. The leader of the non-canonical schismatic structure calling itself the 'Orthodox Church of Ukraine' is screaming about the Russian-Bolshevik hordes that have seized Ukraine. The Nazis are raiding Orthodox churches of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, threatening to kill priests and parishioners," Medvedev wrote.
At the same time, he observed that not all leaders of European Christianity have fallen for Kiev's nationalist propaganda and Russophobia of the "collective West". For example, the Vatican diplomat, former nuncio to the United States, Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano "directly revealed the role of NATO in pushing the Kiev regime to act against Donbass," and also pointed to its support for neo-Nazi formations in Ukraine since 2014, which is the taboo topic in the West, Medvedev recalled.
In the same vein, according to him, the leader of the American Baptists, Franklin Graham, expressed his understanding of........

Putin is a Christian?
This guy has a damn good point. Western Christendom has fallen to the globohomo parasites under the guise of “diversity”.
Re “Putin is a Christian?”
He must be… The Democrats hate him…
If he was still a commie scum bag the Democrats would love him, like they do the little ChiCom bastards.
Thanks to Putin, we can still visit the shrine containing Lenin’s embalmed body on display, against the wishes of the Russian Church. We are illuminated by the icons we protect, I guess.
BINGO!!
That guy's delusional.
Sure, just like the mafia boss was Christian.
Russia bans evangelism.
If Putin had stayed in Russia, the Great Reset was dead in the water. Covid was over. The vax didn’t have the full effect as planned.
We are watching Plan B now, brought to the world by Russia/US/China as the puppets of the WEF.
The sanctions, shortages, lockdowns, supply chain issues, southern border invasion were all choreographed long in advance as the fail safe. If Russia fails in Ukraine, China will invade Taiwan and worldwide chip shortages will cripple most industry. (War, v2.0)
Pretending Putin/Russia are the good guys is laughable at best - all part of the show just like Biden and Xi.
“thermonuclear degenerates”.
Great name for a band.
L
“Put has supported and encouraged the rebuilding of churches all over Russia, churches destroyed by communists. True Christianity”
While bombing Churches in Ukraine....
Then maybe the Ukrainian fighters should stop hiding military assets in churches like how the Palestine fighters use children as human shields
The only one?
Has he ever heard of Poland?
Yeah, Christians poison their political opponents (Litvinenko, Navalny) or imprison them on trumped up charges (Navalny), not to mention, invade a sovereign neighbor on a specious casas belli.
Vlad’s quite the choirboy.
Can you provide a link to this?
Very believeable.
Klaus and the rest of the WEF globalists just love how Xi operates.
It’s their country. Seems they should be able to do what they want.
