Pope Francis says those who have ‘denied the faith’ are ‘at home’ in ‘the communion of saints’

Pope Francis' comments about the communion of saints being made up of those who have publicly denied the faith contradict the teaching of the Church.

VATICAN CITY (LifeSiteNews) — Pope Francis on Wednesday claimed the “communion of saints” includes those who have “denied the faith” and “denied their baptism,” in comments which have been described as possibly being “outright heresy.”

Addressing the general audience on February 2 — the traditional feast of Candlemas — Pope Francis spoke about the communion of the saints and the Catholic Church, quoting selectively from the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC 946).

As much damage as this dolt is generating for catholicism, they should just find a way to vote him out of there.

It would have been easy to make this quite orthodox by adding, the word “repentant” in front of these categories of sinners.

There appears to be no way to “vote him out” much as the vast majority of the faithful would like to. God will have His way soon enough. But the test is, what will happen after he dies and a new Pope is to be selected. If it is another apostate imposter like Francis, then the future of the magisterium is in doubt.

Continuing his theme, Pope Francis posed himself a question about membership of the communion of saints. “‘Father, let us think of those who have denied the faith, who are apostates, who are the persecutors of the Church, who have denied their baptism: are these also at home?’,” he asked.

“Yes, even these, even the blasphemers, all of them. We are brothers: this is the communion of saints. The communion of saints holds together the community of believers on earth and in heaven.”

Well, all it takes is for some brave priest to post 95 theses on some church somewhere.

“Communion of Saints.” Where is that mentioned in the bible? I went to Catholic school but never dared ask a question like that because I’d get a slap on the knuckles. Thankfully I managed to make it eight years without being molested by a priest.

True, many Orthodox saints from those that have repented with bitter tears.

There are no recognized legitimate methods in the RCC to do what you suggest.

It’s ok to deny the “Pope”, right?

Tell it to the holly victims of persecution during Roman times. Especially those martyred by Decius and Diocletian. All they could do to save their lives were to deny their faith, yet they willingly went to torture and death. See e.g. Saint Fabian (Pope during the Decius time).
According to Francis, I guess, they were all fools!
Church actually dealt with those who denied the faith during that time, and subjected them to major public repentance (After major discussions within the Church, as some actually did not even approved that!).
So, yes, you could come back to Church, but it is not so easy! By no means automatic!

BS.
Absolute BS and it says so, literally, in the Bible, that this is the one unforgivable state.
