Head of European bishops' conference demands 'no pass, no Mass' law
BRATISLAVA, Slovakia (ChurchMilitant.com) - Outraged Catholics have published a petition against Slovak bishops after the hierarchs vetoed the right of the faithful to conscientiously object to the abortion-tainted COVID-19 vaccine, in violation of historical precedent and the Nuremberg Code.
"We Slovak Catholics are scandalized by your attitudes," theologians, clergymen and laymen announced in an online petition Thursday. "Conscience cannot be replaced by orders, prohibitions, ideologies, doctrines, decrees or recommendations."
The faithful blasted the bishops for "stubbornly walking in harmony with the secular world" and "canceling" the conscience of Catholics.
"Everyone has the sovereign right to be guided by their conscience," the petition, signed by hundreds of Catholics, maintained.
In a statement issued just before Christmas, the Slovak bishops' conference categorically declared that Catholics were not permitted to have a conscientious objection to the novel gene therapy because "vaccination, as such, is not inherently bad."
"A conscientious objection concerns conduct which is, in essence, wrong," the bishops argued. "If someone rejects it [vaccination], they cannot invoke a conscientious objection" for "even conscience can be wrong."

Suddenly, that whole “priesthood of the believer” Baptist thing looks a little better. Middlemen suck.
No Pass, No Mas!
Nice to see some of the local clergy joined in on this letter to raise hell and call them out on their heresy. For fun, they should nail the letter to the Bishop’s door.
Maybe they’d get lucky and he’d pop a critical vessel.
lick-spittle’s...
One thing about the clergy of all denominations that people should bear in mind is that they are virtually all college educated. Nearly all seminaries require their students to have a four year degree before applying for admission. Most future pastors and priests obtain these degrees from liberal arts colleges.
If you want to know why so many religious institutions are coming off these days as ‘woke’ there is your answer.
Hell is going to be bursting at the seams when this is all done
That’s a very solid point. And they tend to major in those exact soft social disciplines.
Anyone who reads the Scriptures constantly comes upon the idea, first and foremost from Jesus: No longer look at this earth but look up to Heaven.
Hysterical fear about preserving a passing earthly life is heresy.
The “church” leaders are not allowing religious exemption to mandatory participation in a ongoing EXPERIMENT, because the phase three, clinical trials are not concluded. Therefore, “church” leaders are complicit in what will be seen as clarity about the ADEs roll out.
This is a warning that there’s a good chance this soon happens here.
1) Are we ready to sit on the steps of churches to pray the Mass as it occurs inside? Ready for people to walk by and scorn us? Will anyone bring us the Host, as if we are part of the “homebound”?
2) When they lock us out from Mass, they will lock us out from Confession. We will not be able to fall back on Confession, as we often must for “slip ups” (not talking about the sin of Presumption). Are we ready for this - remaining perfect in a State of Grace, maybe for years?
