I have seen that kind of deterioration first hand in all the once prosperous Upstate NY Canal towns.

Those towns that lay along the Old Erie Canal in its heyday were prosperous and vibrant. There’s a rich history there.

Now?

Thanks, state of NY for your business destroying tax burden and regulations, they are all economically depressed wastelands, crumbling from neglect.

It’s really sad to see.

And now I see our major cities following the same route, thanks to the federal level policies that are just as bad as NY’s were.
