Due to the Covid hysteria, Quebec Archdiocese cancelled all Christmas Eucharists.
Cardinal Gérald Lacroix announced December 22 that from midnight December 23 to January 10 all public Masses are canceled. Funerals are the only exceptions.
“I am aware that it will be very disappointing not to gather in church this year for Christmas and New Year’s Day celebrations, but I consider that it is our duty to participate in the collective effort to avoid the further spread of the coronavirus,” Lacroix feigned.
Lacroix allows “personal visits” to churches. He encourages Catholics to “celebrate the Nativity in the privacy of their homes” and all are welcome to watch “Christmas Masses online.”
They still have Catholics in Quebec?
This Pope is more concerned with conforming to an authoritarian secular power than he is in celebrating the spiritual redemption of all of mankind.
This Cardinal, that is.
When the Tabernacles are empty.
Jesus would welcome everyone — even the sinners, the deaf and mute, the crippled, etc.
Glory to God in the highest and peace to people of good will.
Jesus wept.
It is a shame that the bishoph of Quebec, Cardinal Gérald Lacroix, who rolled over like a dog to the secular authorities of Quebec does not have the Catholic fortitude of his fellow bishop, Guy Desrochers, of the diocese of Pembroke in Ontario.
