I think we’re still at the stage where the official view is still: “Perhaps some of Dr. Mengele’s methods are unorthodox, but the man is doing good work, and he is advancing science in remarkable ways.”

If evil wins (this round), they can control the narrative. If the Nazis won, Mengele would have been given a Nobel Peace prize for 'thinking outside of the box'.
