Beloved, Greetings in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ! Who is the TRUE source for ALL Heavenly blessings here on earth and in Heaven above (Eph. 1:3)!
I would like to ask us all this very serious question in light of Thanksgiving 2021 here in America; Can we be truly thankful in our hearts as we celebrate this time of Thanksgiving in light of our EXPONENTIAL national implosion and deterioration? Are we thankful in rightness for our loved ones, a measure of health, and a sound mind? Are we are thankful for the earthly blessings and liberties that we still possess as Americans? Are we thankful for those who have shed their blood on our nation's behalf which have preserved our freedoms and liberties up to now? Are we thankful for the vision and labor of our Founding Fathers which steadfastly sought to provide its posterity with a nation and constitution that we may enjoy our inalienable rights as human beings? Are we thankful to those who labor for the Lord on our behalf, who challenge us and encourage us in the ETERNAL truths and promises of Almighty God? Bottom line my dear friends, are we truly thankful for the littlest of blessings in the light of such evil sobering days? Thanksgiving is one of the most powerful blessings from Almighty God for it is by being thankful that we fully are grateful to the One where ALL ETERNAL provisions and blessings flow!
In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you! (1 Thess. 5:18).
The absolute key to a thankful heart in whatever time period or season one lives in is ONLY found in Jesus Christ and in His RIGHTEOUSNESS! In Jesus is found ALL forgiveness, pardon, hope, promises, RIGHTEOUSNESS, and ETERNAL LIFE for the child who has trusted in Him for ETERNAL SALVATION in RIGHTEOUSNESS! For us who are; Are we truly thankful for Almighty God our Heavenly Father for so loving us that He sent His only begotten Son on our behalf (John 3:16-17), that we may be redeemed, forgiven, received, adopted, and made RIGHTEOUS in the Person and work of Jesus Christ (Rom. 10:4, 1 Cor. 1:30)?
Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice!
Are we truly thankful in light of our day that we are still able to worship Almighty God in Spirit and TRUTH here in America and that we still have a measure of time left to get out His ETERNAL saving Gospel message to a lost, dying, and condemned world? Beloved, are we truly rejoicing that the Lord Jesus is coming again very soon and that this fallen world is NOT our ETERNAL home? Beloved, we have a glorious ETERNAL hope and future with our ETERNAL Savior and Lord in perfect RIGHTEOUSNESS in Almighty God's perfect ETERNAL day (1 Cor. 2:9, Rev. 22:5)! That truly is the fire that burns in our belly and the thanksgiving of heart that keeps us fresh and joyful as we walk this pilgrim journey (Phil. 4:4)! For indeed, this world is truly NOT our home, we are truly just passing through! See the ETERNAL in Christ Jesus, be His faithful ambassador and light in such days, and give thanks to the ETERNAL LORD of life in ALL THINGS (Col. 3:1-4, 1 Thess. 5:16-18)!
May this Thanksgiving be a great blessing to you all! We indeed have much to be thankful for (Phil. 4:4)!

Much of America is thankful. We will NEVER get an accurate picture of America from the Delusional Lying Leftist Media who hates God, America, and the American People.
I believe God is planning to use America as a major source of light in the upcoming worldwide revival fulfilling Luke 14:23.

America still exist in most smaller/medium towns and rural areas.
Can’t speak for larger city towns as I mostly avoid them.
I’m an old lady now, but 25 years ago I developed a tricky heart that was supposed to finish me off in a couple of years. I’m still here and am so thankful for the extra 25 years in which I was able to reach my full potential. It has been the only time in my life that I’ve felt satisfied, and with a bit of “got ‘er done” feeling.

I’m not a lemming.

On this I focus on myself. I have plenty to be thankful for.
Aye, even faith is a gift, for which we ought to be most, most, most greatful.
All material things, the smallest morsel, is icing on the cake.
Aside from the “spiritual” p.o.v., to answer the question, yes, and here’s why;
1. aside from congestive heart problems, stage 4 kidney dialysis, lipedema of my lower legs, plaque psoriasis, type 2 diabetes, surviving colorectal cancer with appliance, a stent between kidney and bladder time change item, hyperallergies, trifocal lenses and one good ear, and 2 moderna silly covid shots, i’m still kicking.
2. i just proved my mental state by composing the previous in one cognitive stream - unlike the current s*itting president.
3. i can still prepare my own food, wash my own dishes, do my own laundry, and live upstairs.
3. i conduct my own business, and manage my own finances, to the penny, and do my own 1040’s.
4. i have an increasing library of actual physical books,,that i can read by candlelight, if necessary.
5. all of my pertinent thoughts are located in journals on my shelf, where poking and peering eyes cannot reach, nor can they be electronically altered or deleted by the state!
7. lastly, i do still call myself an American and as one who in The Cold War, managed to keep communism at bay, unlike the younger crowd today.

Aside from my rants on FR, and a few conversations I have with people; I am extremely thankful. Everyone living in the USA should be extremely thankful. Everyone.
We had the pleasure of sharing Thanksgiving Dinner with several college students. Our son asked his friend what he was grateful for. “Family and opportunity,” he said. He had attended community college on scholarship and was now a transfer to a four year, playing in the marching band, and majoring in “IT”. He felt really fortunate to be where he was, coming from a small town in the South, with limited money.
I just wanted to share that this young American knows how to be grateful and will be an asset as a citizen. And there are others like him, too.
Absolutely. I’m learning to be thankful for difficult situations the Lord is using for his own plans. I’m thankful for this article and will read again with a cup of coffee, coffee which I’m thankful.
