Religion and politics are getting more and more intertwined.
there is no and there never was a “division” between religion and politics.
given God’s Creation, there could never be one, and thus there never was a “wall separation” between church and state. Jefferson’s letter was widely and purposefully misunderstood and misconstrued.
the barrier in the Constitution was to shield religion from the ever zealous and encroaching corrupt state attempting the establishment or corruption of religion.
the courts, the leftists, and most of the mainline denominations have got the Founders and the Constitution completely wrong.
