Want to reduce child abuse in these sorts of centers? Fire all psychologists and related professions. hire real, decent people... not frauds and charlatans.
first of all PARENTS you know the people who had these kids in the first place? They need to do research into these schools. Do background checks, references, visit the site BEFORE sending your child there.
Then if you send you kid there make unexpected visits to the place. I mean at 2 am if necessary. IF they tell you you are not allowed to see your child at the site for any reason THAT IS A RED FLAG and do not send your child there. I shit you not some of these schools have made such a rule and parents actually go by that. Oh hell no if I want to see my child when ever I will. THAT IS MY CHILD.
What it really boils down to? The majority of the parents who send their kids to places like this? They were ain’t shit parents to start with. You know the kind who take their small child with them when mom goes to have an abortion. Yea..that ain’t shit.
