Following his release from George Washington University Hospital yesterday, Patriarch Bartholomew resumed his schedule of political meetings, including with President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Joe Blinken.

Pat. Bartholomew was feeling unwell on Sunday morning and was taken to the hospital, where he stayed overnight.

He then met with Sec. Joe Blinken yesterday afternoon, accompanied by Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon, and senior members of the Patriarchate and the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, the Archdiocese reports.

Pat. Bartholomew spoke about “the vision and ministry of the Ecumenical Patriarchate to promote inter-religious dialogue and environmental awareness,” and about the plight of Christians in the Middle East and North Africa.

He also thanked the Secretary for the U.S.’s support for the Patriarchate’s policies: “We’re grateful to the United States Government for its continued support of the Ecumenical Throne, the ideas and principles we seek to uphold, and at the same time our survival in our historic headquarters in Istanbul.”

The delegation then met with Pres. Biden in the Oval Office. According to the GOARCH press release, they discussed the climate, the COVID pandemic, and the Patriarch’s hope for the reopening of Halki Seminary in Turkey, “which was forcibly closed fifty years ago.”

Speaking with journalists after the meeting, the Patriarch praised the President as “a man of faith and man of vision,” adding that “we know that he will offer to this wonderful country and to the world, the best leadership and direction within his considerable powers.”

I guess the word "Orthodox" has lost all meaning.

Which of the Cadaver’s policies, in particular, does the Pat. Bart get so excited about?

I kind of saw orthodox types as straight arrow hold the line types.

I agree, and I wonder how many church members and clergy agree with him? I certainly don’t.

The Church has a long history of corrupt patriarchs, bishops, and priests who were rejected by the laity, and proven unrighteous by God.

Anaxios Bart.

They usually are, but he’s a liberal freemason. The Ecumenical Patriarch has been trying to water down the Faith since 1923. They’re based out of Turkey, so they get spiritually influenced by the Muslim demons.

Proof that the “Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedo” is a fake and phony title, just like “FBI officer,” “Diversity superintendent” and “Happy alcoholic.” The Eastern Orthodox “churches” are political groups for bored people. Thanks for the fake Eastern “churches,” Catholics lost five Crusades and today Muslims have the keys to Roman Catholic churches in Jerusalem.

"I guess the word "Orthodox" has lost all meaning."

The Greek Orthodox Church in the USA has gone flabby. The patriarch seems as clueless as Biden.

Pat. Bart doesn’t represent most Orthodox Christians. In theory, he is meant to represent Orthodox Christians in the diasphora. People who have fled to other countries due to religious persecution. He is an extremely liberal NWO pawn and acting like he’s relevant. He’s supposed to come to Pittsburgh, to suck up to the Greek Orthodox Church of America hierarchs. Then down to West Virginia, to pick up a reputed $30+ million donation from a wealthy donor there.
