If Nazir-Ali truly believes In the tenets of the Catholic Church, why shouldn’t he join?

Because Jorge Bergoglio does not believe in the tenets of the Catholic Church.

Just because Francis is a heretic doesn’t negate the truth of the Catholic Faith. It seems this man would be an asset to the Church.

I suspect a man like Francis believes that the Church of England is, in some mystical way, Catholic already.

When I was on my way from the Episcopal Church in the USA to the RCC, I heard exactly that from more than a few Catholic clergy.

I’m not surprised. Many poorly formed priests have an an exaggerated sense of ecumenism and a poor grasp of ecclesiology.
