Celeb Anglican Bishop Comes Home to Rome
Islamic scholar who defends persecuted Christians to be ordained priest
'Setback to Ecumenism'
Church Militant also learned that efforts were made at the highest level of the Vatican to dissuade 72-year-old Nazir-Ali from converting to Catholicism.
Across the world, Anglicanism has been seriously wounded by its own synodal process.GabTweet
"First, Nazir-Ali isn't the kind of convert we are looking for under the Francis pontificate. Second, such a high-profile conversion is a setback to ecumenism. Third, Pope Francis seems to have always indicated he believes in the validity of Anglican orders," a senior Argentinian-based Anglican cleric who knew Cdl. Jorge Bergoglio in Buenos Aires told Church Militant.

If Nazir-Ali truly believes In the tenets of the Catholic Church, why shouldn’t he join?

Because Jorge Bergoglio does not believe in the tenets of the Catholic Church.

Just because Francis is a heretic doesn’t negate the truth of the Catholic Faith. It seems this man would be an asset to the Church.

Of course he would. He’s an asset; Bergoglio is an obstruction.

Remember when the phrase “Is the Pope Catholic?” was said in jest?
I’m sure they’ll make this heretic pope a saint just like the other post V2 before him.
The third secret of Fatima had nothing to do with the assassination attempt on JP2 - it was about the Devil’s control of the Vatican in guise of reform.

I suspect a man like Francis believes that the Church of England is, in some mystical way, Catholic already.
When I was on my way from the Episcopal Church in the USA to the RCC, I heard exactly that from more than a few Catholic clergy.

I’m not surprised. Many poorly formed priests have an an exaggerated sense of ecumenism and a poor grasp of ecclesiology.
