Who needs the Bible when you have suburban alumni, students and parents? They are a Bible onto themselves! Looking forward to that steamy new Netflix hit: Housewives of Lisle. Whew! Ice water please!
More like “sodomite” in both cases.
The word “lesbian” came from the island of Lesbos in the Aegean Sea, where Sappho lived. The inhabitants of that island, after getting unwanted attention from that appellation, now call themselves Lesvonians. Its use started in the latter half of the nineteenth century.
The words “homosexual” and “heterosexual” were coined by a liberal Austro-Hungarian journalist named Karl-Maria Kertbeny, in 1869, basically to “replace” the older terms. He also put forth the notions of being “born that way” (to use a contemporary term) and the behavior being “unchangeable”.
“Suburban Catholic school changes course, hires gay coach after backlash”
The LBGTQ+FUBAR dictating America’s policy is like trying to steer an ocean line with an oar instead of the rudder.
Well in their defense, I doubt there is a single female gym or coach whose straight. If there are, they are rare and hard to find.
Might as well take the catholic name out and join one of the 37k flavors dujour.
Lol. I know most don’t read more then article, but you couldn’t even read the first sentence? Lol. The school fired the coach and the alumni, parents and students demanded she be rehired.
“...the alumni, parents and students demanded she be rehired”
Those alumni and parents are not Christians, they are secular atheist. I knew a Jewish couple who sent their kids to Catholic school because it was still better than public school. Same case here. Many of these vocal parents who support the degenerate homosexual lifestyle are actually hard core leftest.
Every one of those parents and students who demand to override Bible scriptures should be expelled from the school and start their own Heretic school.
“and the alumni, parents and students demanded she be rehired.”
10% of each group? 100% of each group? Who knows?
What could go wrong? This school’s leadership have no gonads. And are not following the teaching of Christ.
Love the sinner. Hate the sin. Don’t coddle the sinner who continues to sin.
fools
They’re going to have quite a few lawsuits when their students are molested and raped.
Yeah, ok, now define “heavy criticism “…
They REALLY want a lez coach to be in the locker room with the girls? What could possibly go wrong?
I se some law suits in the future!
While we are not Catholic, I sent my kids to Catholic high school for the superior education available there. There was a band instructor/coach who most everyone knew was a lesbian, but it was a don’t ask, don’t tell situation. She was very popular, and very charismatic. My daughter did tell me though, that while she enjoyed her classes, it was all fun, and that she learned much more about music from the orchestra teacher, who, while not as much “fun”, taught her much about music and playing her instrument. As a side note, the principal of the school was an elderly, and very conservative nun, and I doubt it ever occurred to her that the band teacher was a lesbian.
That’s true. I went to Catholic school and we had some non Catholics because they were better schools. 1974.1987. so none of this nonsense to deal with.
The left’s lingo is newspeak, from Orwell’s 1984. The main thing I remember from reading 1984. Applies today, unfortunately.
Steve Seattle: sorry to hear that about the poor religious training you had. My experience in Catholic school was vastly different. As I recall, we sailed through the Baltimore Catechism in about half a year, then spent the next three and a half years reading passages from the entire Bible, and also studying Augustine and Aquinas and a few others. That on top of the “New Math” and weekly book reports. It was in that Catholic gradeschool I learned the binary/octal/hex numbering systems in conjunction with the basic “new” math operations that have stood me in good stead with computer programming. That was back in the early- to mid-’60’s.
The $64,000 Question is:
WHY did she apply for a job at a Catholic school in the first place???
I think we all know the answer to that one.....
Bergoglio Catholics in action.
