It isn’t anymore that “they’re just like us, only different”, it’s now that the sacramental marital embrace is equated at the highest levels with the perversions, the typical activities of a Gay bathhouse in San Francisco. (Did you know that when you spent your wedding night, you were just like Adam & Steve, only different, and your sacred marital embrace was only a filthy animal thing from the gutter?) The equivalent in Amoris Laetitia was the implication that divorced & remarried people must be allowed Holy Communion because if a woman converting or reverting back to the Church wants to remain chaste with her divorced-remarried husband, if she won’t satisfy his lusts, he might decide to take off against the children’s interests, to their lifelong hurt, for some relationship where his animal instincts can be satisfied. This is equating the purposes of marriage, the propagation and fostering of progeny and the companionship & mutual assistance through life’s hazards of the couple, with the typical activities of a bordello.

CS Lewis rightly saw the need for a hard distinction between CHRISTIAN marriage and civil secular marriage. Albeit it was 80 years ago - when even just a debate over divorce became a flash point.
Back then, he wondered if it should be that Christian divorce laws be forced upon a non-believing secular citizenry...
Obviously not...and so proposed a strong distinction between the two... and had he lived today he would also still advocate necessity for that strict separation of what the SACRAMENTAL MARRIAGE on the Altar means- as opposed to a legal civil agreement between two sides- that can be broken on a whim- whenever one wants another partner- which in our day now also includes homosexual and other alternative forms of a "union" that can be legislated secular, but certainly NOT as Christian...as even THIS Pope continues to remind.

SEPARATE- and certainly NOT EQUAL

Do you know if the story about the Obama administration cutting off the Vatican Bank from the international payment systems is true? There was some line about the Obama administration putting pressure on the Vatican to have Pope Benedict resign so they could get a more “progressive” pope.

I’m not Catholic, but it seems to me the last legitimate pope was Benedict. Bergolio or Francis is nothing but a tool of modern socialist environmentalism, which is a Christian heresy.

Does anyone care to deny, at this point, that Bergoglio Satanspawn has excommunicated himself latae sententiae?

The older ones I pitied and frequently it scared me to see how students could get away with bullying elderly catholic nuns who were trying to teach them. I would guess that if I were to go to class reunions and so on I would find people waxing nostalgic about being nasty to some of the elderly nuns. I don’t think the catholic church has a soul anymore. (On gab.ai I had a little fantasy sequence where JC comes back and walks from the airport in Rome to pay a visit to the Pope. He finally gets to the Vatican and finds all the clergy stealing whatever they can get their hands on and getting out of town. He goes up to the Pope’s office and respectfully knocks on the door, announcing himself, and hears a gunshot from inside.

I was making no judgement either way. I just don’t care what other people do in their bedrooms, straight or gay. And I see no analogy or connection to infanticide, which is murder, and which I adamantly oppose.

Do you oppose sin? Whether it is infanticide or sodomy?

Well, this is not all that earth-shattering or new. The Church long ago accepted homosexuality as a legitimate thing.

That's a lie.

Only one more of my predictions I made about this evil pope left. And that is support for abortion.

No. It isn’t a lie at all. Not so many years ago, It accepted the condition but still condemned the practice.

It’s a lie, period.

The Catholic Church has never accepted the sin of sodomy.

No. Your point makes no sense: claiming the Church accepts homosexuality, is no different than saying the Church acknowledges all men are prone to sin, whether it's heterosexual or homosexual fornification, murder, theft, lying, etc.

Being a chaste homosexual, does not need "special" recognition, attention or "attaboys".

The Church has always recognized that all men, being born in original sin, are tempted to sin. Why all this focus on homos?

I never said it did. You miss the whole point. Sure you did. In your post "14, you claimed "Civil unions are a legal matter, not a theological one."

If you think legalized sodomy is not a theological thing, you are wrong.

I think he’s referring to the teaching in Woytola’s Catechism regarding same sex attraction.

...regarding same sex attraction."

I'm aware Mr. Chips has retreated to that position after first condoning civil homosexual unions, which to most people indicates legitimizing acting upon the sin of sodomy.

He's jumped tracks.
