2'nd Chronicles
7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Many nations in history believed they were above reproach, until they fell.
Bump again and again.
Okay.
Amen. Thanks for posting this.
Yes.
I have been praying for this for years.
This from The Return devotional 297...
In Jeremiah 5, God pleaded, “Run to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem; see now and know; and seek in her open places if you can find a man, if there is anyone who executes judgment, who seeks the truth, and I will pardon her” (Jeremiah 5:1, NKJV). The Lord was saying, in essence, “I’ll be merciful, if I can find just one person who’ll seek me.”
During the Babylonian captivity, God found such a man in Daniel. When the Holy Ghost came to Daniel, the prophet was reading the book of Jeremiah and asking why God was not delivering Israel after the promised 70 years. When the revelation came that Israel had not repented, Daniel was provoked to pray, “I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession” (Daniel 9:3-4).
Daniel knew God’s people had failed, yet did the prophet lambaste his peers for their sins? No. Daniel identified himself with the moral decay all around him. He declared, “We have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from your precepts and your judgments… O Lord, to us belongs shame of face, to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, because we have sinned against you” (Daniel 9:5, 8).
God strongly desires to bless his people today, but if our minds are polluted with the spirit of this world, we are in no position to receive his blessings. Daniel made this powerful statement: “All this disaster has come upon us; yet we have not made our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities and understand Your truth. Therefore the Lord has kept the disaster in mind, and brought it upon us; for the Lord our God is righteous in all the works which he does, though we have not obeyed his voice” (Daniel 9:13–14).
We must examine our own walk with the Lord and let the Holy Spirit show us areas of compromise. We should do more than pray for a backsliding nation. We should be crying out, “Oh, Lord, search my heart. Expose in me all of the spirit of the world that has crept into my soul.” Like Daniel, we could then set our faces to pray for the deliverance of our families and our nation.

Excellent. Wise counsel sister.
” 5 We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments:
6 Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.
7 O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.
8 O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.
9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him; 10 Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.
11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.
12 And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem. 13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. 14 Therefore hath the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.
15 And now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
16 ¶ O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us. 17 Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord’s sake. 18 O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies. 19 O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.” . .
Possibly add your prayers here today as well. Thank you.

What book is that from?
Daniel 9
I think it’s Daniel.
It’s a big ‘IF’ but, anything is possible with God in Jesus Christ.
Thanks for the link brother.
Lord forgive us, a nation which has turned it’s back on You. A nation that no longer recognizes Your precepts and Your Authority. A nation that has gone astray and has kicked You out of our schools, our courts, our laws, and no longer acknowledges You as the Lord our God.
Our churches have become institutions of mans doctrines and traditions. In Revelations chapters 2 & 3, You are in the midst of the Seven candlesticks, yet when You describe the present day church of Laodicea, the Luke warm compromised church, You stand outside the door and knock. This is because You are no longer recognized in most pulpits.
However. There is a remnant, Your Bride. Who still calls upon You and dwells in the shadows of Your ways. Lord, we cry to you, in these troubled times, to hear the prayers of Your people. We lift up our loved ones and our nation. Lord we pray for revival to begin in the hearts of overcomes, and spreads throughout the land.
One last time Lord, before You call us home.
Amen
Bump
In a nation full of narcissists, the only way to humble themselves is to be humbled by our Lord. Some people will need to feel the pain before they consider bending their knee to the Lord. That's what this country has become. The churches are full of married men who look at porn but never repent. These men corrode the church, their families and their communities. A nation that now celebrates perversity started with the man who looked at porn.
Amen
Lord help us understand “Thy will be done”. And what You would have the Church the Body of Christ doing in these last days of Your grace being extended to a lost world. Help us to be ready to share the gospel of the Grace of God to an unbelieving world. And the preaching of reconciliation, offered on the basis of the finished work of Christ alone.
Amen sister. In the Word of God there is Life. Life Everlasting.
In the Book of Acts Peter said, silver and gold have I none, but all I have I give unto thee. Rise and walk.
