The events of the past two weeks in Afghanistan, have simultaneously cast a dark shadow over the West, while at the same time they have enflamed and rejuvenated the ardent zeal of the Muslim World.
Obviously the Western world is staggering at the spectacle of ineptitude displayed by the Biden administration, which has cost the lives of soldiers, civilians, and has turned billions of dollars of top notch weapons over to the Taliban, virtually ensuring their fanatical and tyrannical rule over the nation we had spent twenty years, and thousands of lives seeking to improve the lives of Afghans.
I will leave it to others to catalogue the complete and deadly farce foisted upon our allies and those who had relied on us for leadership and stability. The Taliban cannot believe their good fortune; we re-equipped their army with the best, we have energized their recruiting, we even left a biometric data base of everyone in country who helped us, so that the Taliban can hunt them down easier, in order to slaughter them.
We have also painted our brave forces into a corner, shutting down the near impregnable fortress that was Bagram airbase,( In the dead of night, and without telling our friends), and setting them and those seeking deliverance from the Taliban’s vengeance, into an indefensible siege position at Hamid Karzai airport.
In this terrible situation our soldiers are working tirelessly and bravely, still trying to help and save as many Afghan people as possible, while fending off the incursions of the various Islamic terror cells who are seizing this opportunity to strike out at us, in this weakened position.
One of the groups which claimed responsibility for the latest terror attack, which killed 12 of our soldiers and hundreds of civilians in a co-ordinated suicide attack, is called ISIS-K.
We all know who ISIS is, and that under Trump they were nearly wiped out. But ISIS-K? Many are asking what the K stands for. K stands for Khorasin.
The name is interesting (or ought to be) because it strikes a chord with much of the Islamic world’s sense of end times Prophecy.
The region of Khorasin straddles parts of Iran, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan.
The Christian world has an Eschatology (doctrine of how things end) and so does the Muslim World. They too believe in the end of the World and even in the Second coming of Christ, and the return also of the Mahdi. Jesus will come back in their endtimes Worldview and He will defer to the Mahdi, the so called “prince of the Faithful” and the two of them will make war on Christians, Jews and all idolaters.
The hadith about Khorasin , is the prophecy about the sign of an army of “black Banners” coming out of Afghanistan at the time of the Imam Mahdi’s return. When the army with the black flags comes out of Khorasin, then the Muslim faithful are commanded to join it, even if they have to crawl over ice to get to it… .
Obviously this is diabolical but close to 1.7 billion Muslim people are required to believe in it, and expect it to happen. They watch for the signs of the end-times in a way similar to the way Christians do, only theirs is a distortion.
The astonishing collapse and humiliating retreat of Western dominance in the very area, Khorasin, will allow the development of a massive army, probably US equipped with our finest gear and at the cost of US taxpayers, but of fanatical Jihadis, intent on kickstarting their version of Armageddon. Who will stop them? The West has left the area, and China and Russia want to work with them to their own advantage.
I reject the truth of the Islamic prophecy, obviously, the Koran and Hadith are of the Devil, but there is a prophecy in the book of Revelation and other places, which just might be coming together…as a result of these incredible developments;
And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.( Revelation 16:12-16)
The “Kings of the East”, demonically inspired, and with barriers removed, field an army of millions across the Euphrates River, towards the West, to bring upon the World the horrors described in the Revelation. I do believe that prophecy and that God gave it to us all.
As a result of recent catastrophic events, Muslims believe their prophecy is coming near, and Christians can see our prophecy being fulfilled. There will be a clash, sooner or later. Our godless, secular leaders who have led our nation over this abyss are clueless. They hung a gay rights flag over Kabul recently, alongside an American flag! How did they think it was going to turn out?

You have to rely upon what it was once called to know what it means. Liberals, I mean Muslims, will refer to its original names for its reference. What we call it now is irrelevant.
