Amen Bro!
2 Peter 3:3
Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.
Watch the scoffers come here and do what they do best.
They are all living on borrowed time.
You shouldn't even be trying to guess this stuff, and the Bible tells you don't have the capacity to even know. So why are you wasting your time?
You are supposed to act the same whether it's one hour from now or a million years.
Get back on track!
I am deeply suspicious of people who promote themselves as G-d.
Nobody is doing that you liar.
We read His Word and try to warn others.
You’d be wise to take your life & soul for the value it has, you’re not guaranteed tomorrow.
Sad thing is the scoffers won’t even take the time to acknowledge the times we are living. Its that stubborn religious spirit.
They’ve been duped by the devil and he’s got them playing the showcase showdown until they go bust (die).
I know exactly how Noah felt - so do you too.
1 Thessalonians 5
King James Version
5 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
Yes, bit we are to know the season. It began in 1948. Unlike other periods, actual events are lining up with the bible, without having to torture the scripture.
I for one don’t scoff at other peoples beliefs. I don’t know what the future holds so the reasonable position is to live a proper life and keep an open mind. There can be no doubt we are living in unprecedented times, that’s for sure.
I hear ya. For the scoffers to deny the times we are living, they would have to be ignorant of the Word of God.
For the scoffers to mock the Word of God they need to turn a blind eye to this present generation.
For the scoffers to scoff they must watch this video and deny the 50 reasons presented to them by David Reagan.
That door of opportunity is about to close. We don’t know the day nor the hour. But Paul assured us we would know the times and the seasons.
For those of us who are truly Born Again we will see Jesus face to Face as Savior 7 years sooner than scoffers who shall see Him return with His cloud of witnesses as Lord of lords and King of kings. And He will destroy His enemies with the Breath of His Word.
Amen bro! These are the times we live in. With scoffers, with boastful and proud folks who think they’ve got it all figured out without God.
Jude 1:18
They said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.”
Romans 1:21-22
“Although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools.”
We’ve done our duty in warning them. Thank you for this very timely post!
I find these times very similar to the latter part of the 60’s and 70’s. Having been raised in an evangelical church, during those times we were also told we were in the end times and Christ’s second coming had to be at any time. Be surprised if we make it to the 70’s. Actually from the earliest days of Christianity the second coming and God’s retribution was impenitent due to the condition of the world.
2Tim.3:7 “ Ever learning yet never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
Amen
This 'use by date' notion was in a teaching from JD Farag this past Sunday. It was in his update, not the regular sermon. Reviewing the chapters from six through 13 it does seem JD has seen something we ought to consider.
I’ve heard the term “shelf-life” also used before.
Reading your comments reminded me of these Scriptures in Daniel:
12 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
