Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot , 59, picked up Communion at the funeral Eucharist for policewoman Ella French (+29) who died after exchanging gunfire following a traffic stop.
Lightfoot, a black Democrat who pushes for defunding the police, is a Non-Catholic and self-declared Lesbian. Chicago saw 769 homicides in 2020 alone.
The service was presided by Cardinal Blase Cupich. French's mother, Lightfoot and others delivered emotional speeches. Cupich left it to co-presiding priests to hand out [sacrilegious] Communion.
Lightfoot is a Founding Trustee at Christ the King Jesuit High School in Chicago, and a member of St. James African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church.
So, my old church has adopted the Democrat motto: Our only standard is a double one.

The RESPONSIBILITY was NOT on the Priest, Don’t assume he knows the state of her heart, ONLY SHE KNOWS and is responsible.
Chicago made their pick and they are now paying the price for the horrible choice that was. Thanks to Lightfoot, Chicago is Murder Capitol of the US. Her policies are ruinous, but yet she was voted into office by the Democrat power machine. Good luck, Chicago, because you are doomed.
