Clericalism in Action: Lima Archbishop REFUSES Communion TWICE

Shocking pictures were transmitted in a life-stream of a NO Eucharist in Lima Cathedral, Peru.

The event was presided by the local Pachamama worshipper, Francis-Archbishop Carlos Castillo Mattasoglio.

Cheap guitar pop music was playing while Castillo was handing out Communion, when a young man came forward, humbly knelt down, and waited to receive Communion.

But Castillo started repeating at him: „¡En la mano Señor!“ [In the hand Sir!]. When the young man didn’t react, likely because he didn’t understand Spanish, Castillo stepped forward leaving him at a side and continued handing out Communion to those behind the young man.

But again Castillo was not lucky. He was faced with a young woman standing next in line to which Castillo said „¡En la mano!“ [„Into the hand!“]. The young woman shook her head, and Castillo AGAIN refused Communion.

This is the same prelate who said during an archdiocesan synod that “no one converts in front of the tabernacle.”

Alas, friends don’t let friends Novus Ordo. It’s a hopeless situation over there. Unless it’s a funeral or a friend/family member is receiving a sacrament, it’s TLM only for me.

Hasn’t happened to me in Joseph Cardinal Tobin’s Archdiocese yet but am preparing for that day.

I will do just as this young man did. Remain stuck to the floor on my knees.

At our parish they refuse to do communion on the tongue , bc Covid.

I’d find another parish, a Catholic parish.

I think people who want Communion on the tongue should be able to have it. Even if the bishop has said otherwise, as in our archdiocese. It does concern me that our pastor is insensitive in this regard. But I also don’t mind respectful reception of communion in the hand. I presume that’s how Jesus did it at the Last Supper and on the road to Emmaus.

I was neither present at the Last Supper nor on the road to Emmaus. So I'm not about to presume anything.

But I do know, from the inerrant Holy Bible, that Jesus was not adverse at touching peoples tongues:

[33] And taking him from the multitude apart, he put his fingers into his ears, and spitting, he touched his tongue: [34] And looking up to heaven, he groaned, and said to him: Ephpheta, which is, Be thou opened. [35] And immediately his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke right. Mark 7:33

No more NO funerals or family sacraments for me. I don’t recognize what is going on anyway.
