"It is also important for awareness raising in matters of liturgy that the ostracism of the form of liturgy valid until 1970 must cease at last.
Anyone today who supports the continuation of this liturgy or participates in it is treated like a leper; this is where all tolerance ends.
There has never been such a thing in the whole of history; in doing so, one is also ostracising the whole past of the Church. How can one trust its present when it is like this?
Frankly, I also do not understand why many of my episcopal confreres, for no apparent reason, largely submit to this intolerance, which stands in the way of the necessary inner reconciliations in the Church.

Fr. Ratzinger abandoned the Church, and the Mass, he has no right to complain. He is more responsible than anyone for the current situation.
Upon his election, he asked for prayers that he have the courage not flee from the wolves. Eight years later, he handed over the keys to the wolves and fled. He knows it. The wolves know it. Everyone knows it. He’s a saintly man, and a brilliant man. But his Achilles’ heal was his weakness. Pray for him. May God forgive him. May we who have suffered due to his weakness forgive him. May he forgive himself. I suspect that he’s suffering tremendous guilt right now.
This has today’s date on it. Did the Pope Emeritus just produce it, or it’s from a past doc?
