Diocese of Saskatoon Bishop Mark Hagemoen has apologized in behalf of the Catholic Church in Saskatchewan for its past atrocities and would support having Pope Francis visit Canada.
Hagemoen, in a recorded message released on video sharing site YouTube, expressed regrets on the role played by members of the clergy and religious institutions during the height of the residential school era.

Is that sort like blaming the gun for shooting someone?
What atrocities?
As long as all these people are “apologizing” for crimes of long ago, how can we get today’s mass murderers and genocidal- wannabes to repent and apologize. Let’s start with the islamonazis, Fakestinian terrorists, al qaida, Muslim brotherhood, hamas, plo- Abbas, hezballah, also BLM street thugs and Soroznazi and and and .. getting current- day murderers and hatemongers to clean their act and apologize — will be evrn more useful than having done Saskatoon cleric apologize for whatever he says happened hundreds of years ago ( as nice as that may be, and yes we must learn from the past—— all very true—/ we need to shut down — eliminate today’s terrorists as our first priority).
We must add to this list the progressive racists of yesteryear who supported the removal of children from primitive cultures. This mentality has not disappeared. It is as evident today as it ever was.
The insistence that black children and their parents are incapable of functioning in society is the dominant belief of the 1619 project and its adherents. It is the purest form of racist demogoguery.
The project argues that industrialization was the foundation of slavery. In fact precisely the opposite is true. The cotton gin ended slavery as surely as the industrialized north opposed the agrarian slaver of the south.
Whilethere were indeed slavers in the colonies the great swath of colonialists were refugees from European opression. In fact, the foundation of the New World was built by the very people who escaped economic and social slavery in the old world.
The vulgar and ridicuous attempt to paint the entire colonial period in North America as a slave state is foolish and ignorant on its face.
Surely there were plantation owners who bought slaves in the old South. Just as surely there was a mass migration of people comiing to this country seeking freedom and self reliance.
Both sides of my family were among the indentured servants who came to the Jamestown colony seeking freedom from oppression and a new life in a new world. Each built that life and have inhabited that world through their generations of Americans ever since.
Do not denigrate my ancestors.
And do not neglect to recognize the liberal foundation of cultural native plunder in the 19th and early 20th centuries in Canada.
And some of today’s left-wing apologists for past murders and discriminations are perpetuating or enabling or funding it today, or at least they don’t mention or fo anything to stop it, soroznazi funded gangs, terrorist organizations. Etc .
Ps: it is so easy and cheap for them to “apologize” for crimes from 900 years ago — while they support or defend or perpetuate or fund moslem terrorist murder gangs and BLM street gangs and stolen elections today. I guess they get to feeling good about themselves when they condemn crap that happened 1009 years ago — that nobody can change now anyway. It would be a lit lot better to somehow get them to stop perpetuating enabling or supporting or financing similar crap today
