Creation Scientist’s Ground-Breaking Research at Grand Canyon Published

Four-Year Study Helps Confirm Rapid Formation of the Canyon’s Layers by Massive Flooding

June 23, 2021

Editor’s note: This article was adapted from a news release that was recently distributed to the media.

A bedrock belief of evolutionary geologists has been convincingly undermined today with the publication of ground-breaking Grand Canyon research conducted by geologist Dr. Andrew Snelling of Answers in Genesis (AiG).

A scientist with the highest credentials, Dr. Snelling spent more than four years studying layers in the walls of Grand Canyon in Arizona, especially where those rock layers are not lying flat but are folded.

Dr. Snelling, a creationist, has just released his stunning findings in the peer-reviewed Answers Research Journal. His research helps confirm a rapid formation of those massive Canyon layers and contradicts the belief that they were formed over millions of years, as is commonly accepted by geologists.

His in-depth paper can be found at ...

“evolutionary geologists”

Until now, I didn’t know that was a thing.

The best scientific way to study the speed of the formation of the grand canyon is to ask Biden for photos from visiting it when he was a kid.

I gathered the geologist believes the fold is only 4,500 yrs old rather than the general consensus of 450 million years old, right? That would be something indeed.

Cataclysmic erosion is more believable than gradual erosion. However, that it occurred within the past 6,000 years is a stretch.

A lot of the dinosaurs were killed in Noah's flood along with humans and other animals.

Wait... I forgot to check with Dr. Fauci to verify my findings...

The core argument seems to be this:

“The quandary now for those who argue for millions of years for the Canyon’s layering is this: How could these hard layers, which were bent supposedly 450 million years after they formed, not shatter during the bending process?”

They seem to think that normal rocks don’t bend. They can only shatter.

The truth is anything will bend given low pressure over a long period of time.

In daily life you can test this by leaving a granite counter top unsupported for long enough. It will slowly warp.

Figures that Ken Ham is part of this. What a hack.

He exhibited why creation “scientists” are not scientists at all. What evidence would change your mind? “None”

Is the idea of an apex predator still a thing?
Could you have more than one at a time in the same area?

“A lot of the dinosaurs were killed in Noah’s flood along with humans and other animals.”

Why are no human bones found with the dinosaurs.

I watched a long video that covered much of his research, and would say that it raises valid questions that bear consideration. One might be predisposed to disbelieve the underlying thesis, that the Grand Canyon was formed quickly and recently - or that one is biased against any possibility that the earth and the universe isn’t anything other than very, very, very old - but what if it isn’t?

I don’t understand for a minute how a creator outside of the realm of this creation - heck, I have trouble conceiving of anything outside of this creation - could have pulled all this off, but I am at least open to the possibility.

Good question. Maybe most of the dinosaurs lived in parts of the world at the time where humans didn't? Of course, that's just a wild guess. Wouldn't it be cool if you were that rough paleontologist that found an spear in T-Rex's skeleton? Here is some interesting reading from an old article: https://answersingenesis.org/dinosaurs/when-did-dinosaurs-live/what-really-happened-to-the-dinosaurs
