LOS ANGELES — A man who was naked except for shorts and one sock climbed to the top of a soaring church tower in East Los Angeles Wednesday night, set a fire at the base of a cross, then apparently tried to evade surrounding police by leaping from roof to roof of nearby buildings before he was taken into custody.

If Jesus’ first coming was today in the U.S. the left would be part of the throng yelling “Crucify the fascist!”
No, he will be rewarded with TV interviews as a hero who helped demolish symbols of cis-genderism, oppression and transphobia. The mayor will throw a parade for him and the governor will name an official day for him in the state calendar.
