Pope Francis plans to restrict priests from celebrating the Traditional Latin Mass, according to the Italian website MessainLatino.
In a story about French priests facing expulsion from an archdiocese due to their refusal to concelebrate Mass, National Catholic Register’s Edward Pentin reported Pope Francis aimed to limit the celebration of Mass in the Extraordinary Form, aka the Traditional Latin Mass.
Francis told the bishops the new document would change Pope Benedict XVI's 2007 apostolic letter Summorum Pontificum, which made Traditional Latin Mass widely available.
..... The Register said Francis claimed Benedict's letter was meant only to meet the needs of the Society of St. Pius X, which severed its ties with Rome because of the Second Vatican Council. .....
Pentin wrote that the push toward mandating concelebration in the Church has been seen recently at the Vatican, where the Secretariat of State issued a directive suppressing individually celebrated Masses in St. Peter’s Basilica, drastically reducing the number of morning Masses.
Following an outcry by priests and laity, Cardinal Mauro Gambetti, the archpriest of the basilica, loosened those rules but stressed that concelebrated Masses would now be the norm in the basilica, according to CNA.

Is this the same Pope who had all of us exposed to his ‘up the colon’ surgery?
Why did the MSM not show videos of that??

It is the pinch of salt on the altar of Vatican II.
It was re-introduced in the Latin rite by VC II.
Does it de-emphasize the sanctity of the eucharist?
What does that mean?
Maybe the Church needs to fire the Pope and elect a new one that respects history and stands by tradition?
It appears that Pope Francis wakes up every morning and asks himself, “What can I do today to drive people out of the Church?”
It was the demand of the pagan Romans for the Christians to offer a sacrifice to their gods by putting a pitch of salt on their altars.

The pre-Vatican II Church recognized that the priest is “In Persona Christi”, or, “in the Body of Christ”. It is believed by faithful Catholics that the Holy Mass is a re-creation of the Sacrifice that Christ made on Calvary when He offered Himself up to the Father. When, therefore a Catholic priest offers up the Sacrifice during a Holy Mass, the priest is believed to actually be in the Body of Christ at that time.
So when the “concelebration” notion was introduced it was thought to be an act to rebuke that notion inasmuch as it confuses that belief since there are multiple priests involved with the Sacrifice. Whether or not that was the motivation behind this Modernist proposition is unknown, but the priests of the SSPX do not concelebrate the Holy Mass.
