The parish council needs to be disbanded and likewise denied Communion unless and until they repent. They are supporting an abortion-promoting “Catholic” politician.
The pastor staying mum is giving his assent and support, so he’s at risk, also. A bad shepherd.

As I learned the hard way during 8 years of Jesuit education, Jesuits are not necessarily Catholic. Many of them truly hate Catholicism.
