Conservatism Without the Righteousness of Almighty God is a Big ETERNAL ZERO

In the last twenty years, we have seen as a people the near-complete erosion and extinction of conservative policies and programs in US politics. The United States is EXPONENTIALLY becoming a secular socialist state while rapidly abandoning and despising our representative republic. Our Judeo-Christian heritage, morality, and values do not dominate our culture and society as they once did which has led to our ruin. Another reality is that many have never known any other kind of society than what presently exists. Accountability, responsibility, and virtue are “hisses and by-words” in Hollywood, the Media Establishment, social media, College/University Campuses, and in Washington D.C. In the Ivory Tower realms of the Societal Elite, there is also found scoffing and mocking. These groups on the Left absolutely despise “nominal” Christianity and hate even more true Biblical Christianity. They seek to slander Christianity – and especially Christians - at every opportunity while they defend all sorts of godlessness, immorality, and vice. There was, however, a “new wave” in the arena of talk media led by Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, etc., who use to lead the current fight for conservatism. These were able ar one time to counter the mainstream Media's secular leftist liberal bent, but now they are unable to stop the EXPONENTAL erosion and corrosion in secular leftist Washington D.C. In light of our day what are conservatives to do? Many conservatives are frustrated, many try to be optimistic, many are frightened, and many have just plain given up.

The sad thing today is that many conservatives have no comprehension of the Kingdom of God, which Christ will set up at His triumphant return to earth.

The reality is that now that these crucial foundations have completely eroded, they will never come back (Psalm 11:3). Is it hopeless for conservatism? Yes, indeed, if Almighty God is left out of the equation. God’s Word asks the reader of Psalm 11:3, If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? The sad thing today is that many conservatives have no comprehension of the Kingdom of God, which Christ will set up at His triumphant return to earth. This glorious truth is clearly taught throughout Almighty God's Word, the Bible. Conservatives, in general, are "church-going” individuals who, "have a form of godliness but no power" (2 Timothy 3:5). Many are biblically illiterate and adhere to church traditions rather than truth. They know nothing of Almighty God's RIGHTEOUS demands required for fallen man (i.e., man with a sinful nature) as revealed in Scripture. When it comes to “A-B-C” knowledge of the simple truths of the Bible, ignorance is to be found greater than understanding. There is little biblical reality or soundness when it comes to what most conservatives really believe.

Conservatism without the Christ of The Holy Scriptures and the righteous perfection of Almighty God is absolutely bankrupt.

Fallen humanity which only practices a “moral lifestyle” and "conservative principles" is still bankrupt and fallen and therefore doomed. The Bible speaks overwhelmingly of the EXPONENTAL godless and lawless conditions that will abound and will be present in the last days preceding Christ’s glorious return (Matt. 24; Rev. 6-19; 19:11-21)!

2 Timothy 3:1-5 states: "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."

And in 1 John 2:18, "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." (This describes a universal attitude or spirit that hates the True Christ of the scriptures.)

In 2 Thessalonians 2:1-7a, "Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work…"

These conditions have always existed but they have never existed at this EXPONENTIAL intensity and at this EXPONENTAIL global level as seen today. Conservatives must face the reality that these conditions must come to pass before the triumphant return of Christ to earth, without whom there is absolutely no hope. There is no, nor will there EVER be, a man centered conservative utopia on planet earth without Jesus Christ; to even seek such is a demonic delusion and the height of vanity!

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed" (Romans 10:9-11).

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil" (Proverbs 3:5-7).

"And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come" (1 Thessalonians 1:10).

There is hope today and it is found only in Jesus Christ, The Savior of the World! "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6).

In these trying Last Days before Christ's return in the clouds for His bride; may Conservatives abandon their trust in self righteousness and a conservative optimism by replacing it with a biblical realism and optimism,. In doing so they will ultimately find their hope and trust in Almighty God and His Word alone. Conservatism without Christ is pure vanity and has absolutely no ETERNAL future!

Dear friends, our ETERNAL hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness! On Christ the Solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand!

We are at the point in the USA that being pre-mil, pre-trib is the object of much ridicule. Preterism, which requires that one assign no real meaning to any prophetic Scriptures is more respected than dispensationalism among evangelicals. Quite sad really.

Take the Bible seriously and get scorn from both those who claim to be Bible Believing Christians and those who have no kind words for Jehovah.

There will never, ever be another USA like we once had. The world will keep going from bad to worse. Man’s ONLY hope is Jesus, having faith in his death, burial, and resurrection to save us.
