You're welcome, I think daily reading of the Gospel is very important and this is such a fascinating and enlightening effort here on FR that I wanted to raise awareness.

For good or bad I guess my dad's 100th birthday just goosed me over the edge a bit. I am sure he and my mom are just laughing it up with the O'malley's upstairs. Here is the description from the bottom of the post but Cronos, Annalex, Fidelis or Salvation may be able to give you a better idea of where they come from.

The readings on this page are from the Jerusalem Bible, which is used at Mass in most of the English-speaking world. The New American Bible readings, which are used at Mass in the United States, are available in the Universalis apps, programs and downloads.
You can also view this page with the Gospel in Greek and English.

No thank you. I have enough "mass" information deluging me (sorry for the pun). I'm good with God as the last two operations He gave me a sense of deep peace before the anesthesia and made me well far faster than expectations. God is awesome.

Very unhappy with Pope Frank, too. His trying to surf today’s popular political trends while ignoring or trying to reinterpret God’s Word has pissed off the majority of the faithful - especially the priesthood. I urge you to consider your church’s doctrines more carefully, for just one instance the worship of Mary as the Queen of Heaven, Co-Redemptress, perpetual virgin, etc. It is idolatry. I want to qualify: the Alleluia ping list, originally managed by Salvation and now — by Cronos and me, with regular posts by Fidelis, is a Catholic Caucus thread. That means, it is treated like a prayer meeting: no adversarial information is allowed.

If you would like to read the Bible as it is read on a particular day by the Catholic Church, read patristic commentary, Navarre Bible commentary, the Gospel readings in original Greek and Latin, enjoy sacred arts, discuss Catholic matters in a friendly way — you are welcome.

If you want to argue against Catholic doctrines, please do in on some other thread.
